If your like me you enjoy a good Online match of Company of Heroes or Call of Duty when you get some free time to sit down and have a couple beers or your favorite cocktail. Do you guys remember Direct2Drive ? The digital distribution platform. Well back in January 2012 they were bought out by GameFly, an online videogame rental service. I have 18 digital downloads through Direct2Drive's service some $540.00 worth of game files. I had been using Direct2Drive since July 2006 and I've always happy with their service and never had to experienced a day with downed service. If your a gamer you know you may need to get a Activation key or re-download one of your games at any time. Wholly Cow, until a couple of weeks ago I could only access 4 or 5 of my 18 games and for the first 2 months or so I couldn't access any of my games. I've been so wanting to reinstall my copy of Dirt2 and put my Wheel to use again. Its so fun to drink and drive when your doing it from your desktop. I checked again today, and after seven months since the Gamefly, Direct2Drive buy-out I still cant download five of my games. And I wont even mention that I lost my guide books due to the fact that Gamefly does not support Non-Game files such as the Prima Guides. So that brings me to this. I urge you, if your looking to pick up some digital downloads, do yourself a favor and check out this
Customer Services Scoreboard before you buy. Witch by the way I left two complaints on that they promptly removed, probably due to my leaving of my email address and asking other gamers to join me in a boycott. and a possible lawsuit for the stealing of digital files from their costumers. You May just want to steer clear from these Gamfly guys.
